In individual therapy we begin by completing a thorough assessment to identify our counseling focus. We will collaborate to formulate your desired goals and to develop a treatment plan.

In this plan, we will define the evidence-based treatment which will best serve your needs. Over time, we may edit your treatment plan to be sure it describes your goals accurately. We will meet regularly to work on these goals. Your participation in therapy is voluntary - you can stop at any time.

Once you reach your goals, we will conduct a reassessment to either identify new counseling goals or to begin our discharge process. Our discharge process can happen in one session, or we may gradually step down our meeting frequency. We may also schedule a check-in appointment a few months after we have completed our work.

I have experience with a variety of counseling focuses including grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, addiction/codependency, mood disorders, and personality disorders.
